It has come to my attention as of lately that carburetor cleaning is a very big
issue. Here in the desert a lot of people don’t ride there bike in the hot
summer months so when they bring them out the bike runs rough or won't idle. Fuel stabilizers don’t seem to do the trick, so I have come up with a better solution, turn the fuel valve off and drain the bowls. You will see on the bottom of each carburetor a drain screw and a rubber tube, simply put the end of the tube in a fuel can and turn the screw counter clock wise about 2 turns. When all the fuel stops running simply tighten the drain screw back up.
So when you are ready to ride just turn the fuel valve back on and start the
bike as usual. Be very careful, gasoline is very flammable. No smoking or open flames. Andalways remember if you have any questions just give us a call, and happy biking!!
